NOTES:
1) I do have a diagnosed mood disorder with psychotic features, and I do experience delusions. I am being treated with medication and therapy, but it does not cure me of all my symptoms.
2) I prefer the term ‘endel’ or ‘fictendel’ over DA (delusional attachment). Please don’t call them delusional attachments.
3) Feel free to refer to them as “IRLs” or “literally you/Kit” but don’t reinforce my delusion any further than that. Please don’t refer to me with my fictendel’s name or refer to my fictendel’s appearance as my appearance. It confuses me and can worsen my symptoms.
4) I do know it’s a delusion ( the curse of knowing but not being able to stop it :-] ). You know it’s a delusion. However, don’t reality check me unless it is necessary (causing myself or others harm).
5) I don’t consider people who kin my fictendels in front of me a reality check, but I can’t view them as my fictendels because they are me, from my perspective.
6) I may request ‘no doubles’ for some fictendels in some servers that allow it since many people misinterpret the portrayals of my fictendels and it aggravates me. Still, I can tolerate kin of my fictendels and even befriend them. It depends on the individual.
7) Endel can be labeled as kin by the individual using the term if they so choose, but they aren’t synonymous.
8) I differentiate ‘endel’ and ‘kin’ here, but may say ‘kin’ to refer to my endels out of habit or so others understand in their own way.

NOTES:
1) For me, these blur the line between endels and “really strong kins”. Most of these I’ve experienced delusions involving them during psychotic episodes.
2) I’ve tried to part with a lot of these, but my mind still cannot separate myself from these for whatever reason.
3) I will usually say ID when specifying instead of endel or kin since most were delusion-based at some point and are so integral to my identity.
